Design Work

Below are a few projects where I was the Creative Director, the Designer and everything in between. From corporate, modern, and clean to capturing a feeling through collage, I love it all. Creative versatility and the ability to work on many different types of projects is something I am passionate about and always looking for.

Concept/Style Frames – “Parts Unknown” Graphics Refresh

Self-Initiated project after Anthony Bourdain’s death. I was a big fan of Parts Unknown, and wanted to spend some time connecting to it by rewatching and working with the imagery. I never felt the graphics did the show justice.

ROLE: Art Director | Designer | Hand type | Collage

Concept 1

I know Bourdain kept notebooks of his travails in the places he explored. This led me to approach the graphics with a hand-made, collage, notebook feel. I imagined the cut-outs, beer labels, and acerbic notes that would be in his personal notebooks we would never get to see.

(Luckily, I found a CNN site published posthumously that had quite a few of Bourdain’s personal notes from his travel that I could borrow from.)

Concept 2

Liberty Mutual / Winter Olympics

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more or maybe you have a creative project.

Product Demo – Terminix / Genuine Interactive

ROLE: Art Director | Storyboards | Designer | Director

This explainer video was part of a series for a new Terminix site. The site had a number of complex products that they wanted to breakdown and simplify for customers through in-line videos. This was my favorite.
